Marshall Godwin founded Palmetto Paving in 1987 after working for years with his father Mack at Godwin Construction. Marshall’s son, Shawn Godwin, joined the company in 1994 and has helped the company expand from a paving company to a fully integrated complete site development and construction company. Under Shawn’s leadership, Palmetto Corp has grown from 25 employees and $5 million in annual revenue, to over 500 employees and exceeding $100 million in annual revenue.
