Myrtle Beach Paving Job – Walmart
Now that the weather is finally cooperating, we get started on our Myrtle Beach paving jobs on tap for the spring and summer! Our crews are hard at work on resurfacing the parking lot of the WalMart on Highway 17 across from Tanger Outlets in Myrtle Beach. Because of the high volume of traffic that this shopping center sees, this is a night job for our crews.
We’re starting with full depth patching, then we will mill, repave, and re-stripe the entire lot. National chains have high expectations for work performed on their properties, and the Palmetto Corp crews are up to the task. Whether we are repaving a large parking lot for a chain like Walmart, or repaving a small lot for a local business owner, each and every Myrtle Beach paving job we manage are performed to the highest standards.

Join the 2014 Palmetto Corp Heart Walk Team!
Since February is American Heart Month, we couldn’t think of a better time to kick off the 2014 Palmetto Corp Heart Walk Team!
Last year our team raised over $4,500 for the American Heart Association and we’re aiming even higher this year for a cause near and dear to the Palmetto Corp family. Please join us as we remember and honor those we’ve lost and celebrate our survivors.
Palmetto Corp team members will receive regular email newsletters throughout the year with tips on being healthy, including recipes and exercise routines. We will also set fundraising goals with small prizes leading up to the event. Fundraising is not a requirement to be a part of the Palmetto Corp Heart Walk Team – our priority is bringing awareness to this cause and helping our employees and customers live a healthy lifestyle!
If you don’t want to be on a team but still would like to contribute to the American Heart Association, you can make a donation by clicking on the link. Donations can be made in honor of a loved one We will also add them to our list of individuals we are walking in honor of.
The date for this year’s Heart Walk has not yet been set, but it will be in either late September or early to mid October. We will keep you updated!

Asphalt Maintenance – Magnolia Place
This summer we performed asphalt maintenance on the parking lots of Magnoliga Place, a large multifamily complex managed by our friends at Ally Management. We seal coated and striped the entire property and did so with minimal interruption to the residents. Photos of the finished product are below, including some before & after contrasts.

Paving in Pawleys Island – Heritage Plantation
This past summer our crews did a great job paving in Pawleys Island at the beautiful Heritage Plantation. We milled and resurfaced some of the roads in the neighborhood and seal coated the clubhouse parking lot. Take a look at some of the before and after photos. What a difference a new road makes!
2013 Year in Review – Growth in Diversity
The many divisions of Palmetto Corp allow us to thrive and keep our customers happy. Our crushing division acquired new state of the art machines and saw an increase in business as more and more customers have looked for ways to reduce job costs and recycle their materials.
Our asphalt maintenance and concrete divisions continued to improve the appearance, safety, and function of properties throughout South Carolina – including restaurants, residential neighborhoods, golf courses, and hotels.
Our building division also saw a year of growth as more and more people are growing confident in the building market. Some of our commercial building highlights from 2013 include the Waccamaw Regional Recreational Center and the Bandito’s Boardwalk Extension in Myrtle Beach.
